We've been making our shop apron with waxed cotton canvas since the very beginning and we couldn't resist making one out of buffalo hide as well. Buffalo hide is one of the toughest hides out there, providing a very rigid material for protection and durability. We've washed the Great Plains Shop Apron to break it in a bit more, so this one hugs the body without that stiff feeling like many other aprons out there. This one sits roughly mid-thigh length once the shoulder straps are adjusted to preferred fit.
